Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

By owning or leasing in a commercial building here in the HxBIA district, you’ve invested yourself in this community in a number of ways. One of which is by paying into the levy to fund the work of the Hastings Crossing Business Improvement Association. With this, you have a say in the work that we do in your community!

Join us on September 26th at 6pm at Nemesis Coffee to learn about what we've been up to this past year, meet your fellow neighbours, and make some decisions about the year ahead.

Special guests, Stephen Johnston and Alisha Maxfield will be joining us. Stephen and Alish lead the Community Economic Development Strategic Action Committee (CEDSAC), who are currently leading a DTES Community Card initiative. They will be there to share the work of the committee and seek business interest in this new project.

There will be light refreshments provided by Nemesis Coffee.

To view the full AGM Notice including a list of board nominations, proposed 2018-19 budget, and forms to ensure your vote is counted, please visit: http://hxbia.com/about/annual-general-meeting/

Prior to attending the meeting, we request that all members are in good standing and registered with HxBIA. You can register online here.

** If you cannot make the meeting, you're welcome to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. A proxy form can be found here.
