Event description

Description

The Coming Together Forum is an initiative of the Coastal Family Resource Coalition which takes place every second year. The event is a regional forum for service providers, decision makers, and community to plan on the future of child, youth, senior/elder, and family services and health on the West Coast.

This year the Coming Together Forum will include a series of presenations, small break-out sesions, and large group discussions designed to update and engage you on regional health needs and priorities, service integration efforts, and planning for next steps and implementation.

A full agenda will be sent to registrants a week before the event, but until then, here is a sneak peek:

  • Opening and Welcoming Prayer

  • Presentation from Dr. Paul Hasselback, our Chief Medical Health Officer on West Coast Health Status and Health Services Utilization data

  • Small and large group discussions around regional health priorities

  • Break out sessions on: Early Nutrition and The First 2000 Days, Trauma-informed Practice, Culture and Healing: Tla-o-qui-aht Mens Group, and an update on the West Coast Public Transportation project.

  • And of course: networking, snacks, and new friends.

Thanks for your support and continued collaboration as we move together towards a healthier future on the West Coast.

-- Faye and Brooke
