Description

The Creative Futures Expo, presented by Applied Arts, is Canada's largest event to help grow awareness of careers in the creative industry. Find out how you can get paid and do what you love.

November 19 & 20, 2018 - 9 am - 2 pm, both days.
Registration required.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • High school students with an interest in visual arts.
  • Post-secondary students in creative foundations programs.
  • Anyone who is out of school, looking to switch careers and considering visual communications.


WHAT'S ON AT THE EXPO:

  • SCHOOL FAIR: Meet with representatives from leading art and design colleges and universities who offer programs in visual arts.
  • SPEAKER PANELS (Registration required): Hear from recent grads and leading creative professionals about how they landed their dreams jobs.
  • ART EXHIBIT: View award-winning creative work produced by current post-secondary and high school students from our 2018 Student Awards PLUS select work produced by advertising agencies and design studios.
  • INFO SESSIONS: Learn about financial aid options from ScholarshipsCanada & SchoolFinder ... and more, in these walk-in sessions.
  • CREATOR ZONE: An experiential, interactive exhibit area.

Attendance is free. Tickets are required to attend one of the two (9:45 am or 10:45 am daily speaker panels— These must be reserved in advance. Limit 20 tickets per group. If you need additional tickets please email: info@creativefutures.ca.
