Description

The 2018 Fort Garry Lectures is hosted by the History Graduate Students' Association. This annual conference is supported by the departments of History at the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg. Here, students can showcase their research in a collegial environment and forge interdisciplinary connections with students and faculty.

Conference Schedule

Thursday May 3rd - Evening at U of W campus. Welcome address, Keynote. Reception to follow.

Friday May 4th - All Day at the U of M campus. Dinner and Roundtable Discussion on campus.

Saturday May 5th - Group Excursion to Lower Fort Garry and meal in Selkirk.


Full Registration for students and faculty includes ALL conference events and meals, includes Thursday reception, Friday coffee breaks, lunch, and dinner, and Saturday lunch in addition to cost of Saturday activity)

Note: It is absolutely FREE to attend the conference and listen to the panels, keynote, and roundtable. However, you must register to join us for meals and the Lower Fort Garry trip.
