2018 mini-MBA Certificate in Business and Consulting

The York Graduate Management Consulting Association is proud to announce the 4th annual Certificate in Business and Consulting. The certificate is designed to provide graduate students and post docs with fundamental knowledge in key areas of business and consulting in order to broaden their career options.

The format of the certificate will involve ten 2-hour classes delivered by business professionals, followed by a capstone business case analysis and presentation. Classes will take place at York University from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 22 to April 3, 2017. Classes will be held in Founders College, Room 106. Recommended Text: “The Ten-Day MBA” by Steven Silbiger (4th Ed.) It is very strongly recommended that students buy this book (or another similar book) and read the relevant material before each class to maximize your learning.

The certificate is free (other than an Eventbrite processing fee of $5.15) for York graduate students and post docs, but a $100 deposit is required. To receive the certificate and the return of your deposit, you must attend at least 8/10 classes and participate in the capstone business case analysis and presentation. You must also bring your YU Card to the first lecture.
