2018 OAFB Annual Conference:

We are heading to beautiful Sarnia for the 2018 OAFB Conference! Our theme this year is "Bridging the Gap," which has many meanings: the role that food banks play in filling in the ‘food gap’ for clients, the work our network is doing to find and advocate for long-term solutions to the ‘poverty gap’, and the connections with your neighbours that we hope you will make over the course of this conference.

The conference programming will explore these ideas through our lineup of workshops, mealtime talks and special events. We will also be presenting the OAFB Strategic Plan, and are looking forward to discussing the future of our organization with you.


Your Conference Fee Includes:

Welcome Reception, Gift Bag, Welcome Dinner, Two (2) Breakfasts, Two (2) Lunches, Snack Service, Your Ticket for the Leadership Dinner (off-site), All Conference Sessions and Workshops, Food Bank Tour(s), Bus Transportation, and Admission to Off-Site Events.


Delegate Fee:

Full Conference Ticket - Early Bird (before March 31st, 2018): $225
Full Conference Ticket - After March 31st, 2017: $245

There are also options to participate in select portions of the event:

• $150 for One Day Only (includes all meals, sessions, and activities on that day)
• $100 for Extra Leadership Dinner Ticket (includes transportation, dinner, and entertainment)

Please note:

1. The OAFB Annual Conference is a membership event. All delegates must represent either a direct or affiliate member of the association.

2. Cancelled tickets are eligible for a full refund until May 18th, 2018. Following this date, cancelled tickets will be ineligible for a refund. Thank you for your understanding.

In order to accommodate members of the Ontario Association of Food Banks, the Holiday Inn Sarnia is offering the following, exclusive prices to our delegates:

Standard Rooms (King or 2 Double Beds): $105.00/ night
Suites: $150.00/ night

Check-in time is 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am.
