The Peer Validator training is an opportunity for peers to come together to learn, share experiences and further their skills as it relates to their role at FOCUS.
We are delighted to host an appreciation lunch in your honour, as a thank you for all you do to support the work of FOCUS. We will then continue with an afternoon of learning, sharing and networking.
We are pleased to host Claudia Ferryman who will provide Peer Validators with DiSC training. The DiSC theory, is a method of identifying predictable actions and personality traits within human behavior. These predictable personality traits have been categorized into four DiSC personality types. The DiSC model provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and adapt their behaviors with others - within a work team, a leadership position, or other relationships.
We will complete the afternoon with a review of Peer Validator processes and will engage you in discussion and answer any questions you have. Come with your own questions, or send them in advance to amy@focusaccreditation.org

12:00 – 1:00 – Peer Appreciation Lunch (no cost)
1:00 – 3:00 – DiSC profile learning session
3:00 - 4:30 - Review of Peer Validator processes:
- a review of the FOCUS tools to assist you with your role
- review of Dropbox, folders and files
- discussion of desk-top review, before you go onsite
- onsite experiences
- complete annual forms (confidentiality, code of ethics, attestation and code of conduct)
