Description

The Open Toronto Meetup Group and the Toronto Public Library are proud to present the 2nd Toronto Open Government Celebration in support of International Open Goverment Week!

MORE DETAILS, PLEASE!
The Toronto Open Government Celebration is an interactive event that will allow Torontonians to not only learn more about Open Government and Open Data, but also engage directly with public servants and community leaders who are changing how government provides services to citizens.

It is taking place during the International Open Goverment Week, an initiative organized by the Open Government Partnership (of which Canada is Co-Chair) and is dedicated for anyone who believes citizens should play a role in government decision-making.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE OPEN GOVERNMENT CELEBRATION
Featuring an Open Government & Open Data Family Feud, a Town Crier Proclamation, a DOTmocracy, a Mandala station, as well as having a rapid-fire-and-Kahoot-driven panel discussion, the Toronto Open Government Celebration will be a creative and memorable event for all those attend.

The event's purpose is to find new ways on how residents and the city, province, and country can work together as a means to provide better services and a better government.
