Event description

Description

Sunday June 16th is our Annual Father’s Day Drive. This year we are changing the route. We will be leaving as usual from the Shawnessy’s Tim Horton’s and heading to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump World Heritage Site. We will be motoring down scenic parts of the Cowboy Trail and some cross country roads to enjoy a great Heritage site.

Registartion for the drive is free but there is a park entrance fee to Head-Smashed-In. (https://headsmashedin.ca/visit)

Adult (18-64): $15
Senior (65+): $13
Youth (7-17): $10
Children (0-6): Free
Family (Max 8 people): $40

Also – no sub sandwiches this year! The site has a great cafeteria serving everything from Bison to conventional burgers. There are other options in Ft. Macleod as well. As we will be arriving approximately 1:00 PM at the park, it is advisable to bring a mid-morning snack.

This may also be a great educational experience for your kids and grandkids or for anyone who's interested and hasn't been Buffalo'd. ;)

This will be an all-day event. If you wish to partake in the site tour, it will be 1.5 hours long. The trip home will be roughtly 2 and half hours.

Arrive at Tim Horton at Shawnessy at 8:30 for 9:00 departure.

BMWCSA Membership Number required during registration.
