Leader in Training Volunteer Program (age 15-18)

Our Leader In Training (LIT) Program is an advanced four-day overnight program for youth interested in advancing their leadership and outdoors skills. It includes first aid certification, canoe training, outdoors activities, and everything needed to help participants volunteer as a part of the Eco-Adventure team.

There’s also plenty of time for fun! Participants stay overnight at beautiful Elbow Lake and enjoy hiking, swimming, canoeing, campfires, and more (or should we say s’more?).

After their LIT week, youth have the option to come volunteer during our regular day camp. We guarantee at least 40 volunteer hours per participant!

The fee includes food, accommodations, and Emergency First Aid with CPR B certification. We provide transportation (stops available at Queen’s and along the way to camp).

Family Night

Enjoy free weekly Family Night programming every Thursday (and one Friday) evening in July and August! Learn about science and nature and experience Elbow Lake for yourself. Program topics are listed on the Elbow Lake Website. Family Night is open to everyone, including the public (don't need to be registered for camp).

Stay the night in one of our cabins (sleep 4-6). Rentals are available for $65+HST. Cabins are limited, so book yours today! Click here for more info on the facility.

Eco-Adventure Camp Handbook

Please read this before completing the registration process. It contains information about what to bring, family night timing, camp policies, and camper rules. Please read this document before registering for camp.
