The Erindale Biology Society & DEM Association are pleased to present the 2020 BioTech Case Competition.

About this Event

The case competition is an opportunity for undergraduate students at UTM to test their knowledge and put their skills to use as a team. Teams consist of either a minimum of 2 people or a maximum of 3 people.

DATE: Saturday February 22, 2020

TIME: 9:30am - 5pm

LOCATION: Kaneff Centre, University of Toronto-Mississauga

COST: $5 per team member

PRIZES: 1st-$1000, 2nd-$300, 3rd-$200

ITINERARY (tentative)

9:30am - 10:00am | Registration + Light Breakfast

10:00am - 10:30am | Opening Ceremony

10:30am - 1:30pm | Case Preparation

1:30pm - 3:00pm | Preliminary Presentation Round

3:00pm -4:00pm| Lunch

4:00 - 5:00pm | Final Presentation Round + Closing Remarks

About the Erindale Biology Society (EBS)

EBS is the Erindale Biology Society made for biology students - on microscopic level to macroscopic and everything in between. EBS is the academic society for the Biology department at University of Toronto Mississauga and offers numerous events and services to biology students. Our mission is to plan engaging events for students allowing them to get to know the department, network with industry professionals, plan for the future and meet some amazing people along the way. We hope to provide biology students a greater belonging and provide opportunities and information to building a stronger sense of community within the Biology student body.

About the DEM Association (DEMA)

The Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) program at the University of Toronto, Mississauga campus is centered around learning how to leverage technology to produce client solutions. The DEM Association strives to provide opportunities for students to apply the knowledge learned in the classroom in real-world situations.
