The Santa Claus Parade is an annual event coordinated by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic the traditional Santa Claus Parade will be replaced with a reverse parade and will be hosted at MacDonald Island Park on December 5th, 2020 from 5-9pm and December 6th from 4-8pm.

Unlike a traditional parade where spectators stay in one spot and watch floats and performers go down Franklin Avenue, visitors are asked to stay inside their vehicles and drive through the stationary parade to view the holiday themed floats.

*Please note that COVID-19 public health measures may lead to the cancellation of the Santa Claus Parade at any time.
