About this event
Are you a high school youth in grade 11 or 12 exploring your future education and career opportunities? Looking for one-to-one support from a mentor who can help navigate through your options, build on leadership and communication skills, and attend free workshops?
Join us in one of our info sessions to learn more about the YWCA High School Mentorship program, offered workshops and events, and how the program could benefit you as a mentee!
Our program is free to participate, offers accessible and/or low-cost activities and resources, and hosts workshops and events with topics such as:
- Self-Care and Self-Love
- Health Care Career Cafe
- Time Management, Boundaries, and Communication
- Financial Empowerment Entrepreneurship Career Cafe
- First Year 101
- Exploring the Job Search Process
- A panel on the Gaming Industry
- FOCUS: Navigating Life as a Racialized and Immigrant Woman in Canada
*Our program primarily serves cis and trans women and people who are systemically marginalized due to their gender identity and gender expression. We welcome members of the LGBTQIA2S+ and Disabled communities.
