About this Event

Campus Alberta Neuroscience is a proud sponsor and the organizer of the 1st ever Canadian Computational Neuroscience Symposium (CCNS) being held at the University of Lethbridge 17-20 August, 2021.

***Please note that the original date of this event was August 2020, however, due to the COVID situation, it was moved to August 2021***

This symposium will be split between a conference-style knowledge exchange, with built-in discussion and problem-solving panels, alongside workshop-based programming (scientific presentations and didactic workshops).

Participants with experience in computational neuroscience methods looking to further advance their skills and techniques while promoting networking and collaboration within the local, provincial, and international neuroscience communities are encouraged to attend.

Attendees of the CCNS can expect:

• skill advancement, at both the trainee and PI level, while facilitating collaboration and networking opportunities.

• An opportunity to explore and pursue new funding opportunities.

• Collaboration with groups and organizations that offer curriculum on related topics, such as machine learning, neurotechnology, entrepreneurship, and leadership

• Connecting with industry leaders and members of the commercialization sector in supporting entrepreneurship.
