On April 24th 2021, RCATV will be having their virtual 2021 Annual General Meeting to update members and riders.

About this Event

This annual business and trail update event is open to individual and corporate members of the Renfrew County ATV Club (RCATV), to members of the trail riding community and interested partners. Our focus is to provide the riding community with updated info on the status of trails, financial expenditures and RCATV business, as well as the very important role of electing and ratifying the 2021 Board of Directors.

All attendees are welcome to participate and contribute to the discussion, however only valid Individual and Corporate Members of RCATV will be able to vote on business decisions and in elections.

On The Agenda:

9:00 - 9:40 Tech Testing

10:00 PRESIDENTS UPDATE: We will introduce our focus for 2021, our plan to stay engaged with our riders through another summer impacted by COVID and wrap up the 2020 year in review

10:15 TRAILS UPDATE: Get the latest on new and developing ATV trails in Renfrew County and South Algonquin, including the Hastings Heritage and County trails, updates on the Algonquin Trail and expanding RCATV Trails.

10:45 BY-LAW AMENDMENTS: By-laws are key to ensuring transparency and governance. By-law changes for approval include the new role for Second Vice President, definition of membership to include non-riders, and requirement for Wardens and Executive to hold police reference checks.

10:55 FINANCIAL STATEMENT & BUDGET APPROVAL: Members play an important role in approving RCATV’s $124,000 Budget, so that the Board of Directors can continue to operate the Corporation throughout the year. Budget highlights will include:

  • Trail Maintenance 60%
  • Staff Support & Students %16 (including GIS and trail support)
  • Trail Safety 9.3%
  • Marketing 4%

11:15 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR: Volunteers are the backbone of this organization, we will introduce our nominees and winners for 2021. If you have a volunteer you wish to nominate, email us at

11:20 ONTARIO REGULATION 8/03: Recent municipal land-use agreement changes, and changes to Off-Road Vehicle regulations on Ontario roads in Renfrew County.


11:45 CONFIRMATION ON BOARD OF DIRECTORS: RCATV will not be receiving nominations from the floor, instead Director nominations are open from March 20 – April 20. Please visit our “Volunteering with RCATV” page for positions up for election, and email to express interest.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to put your name forward for election in any of the above positions, please contact us before April 20 to request the board application form so that we get to know you and put your name forward at the AGM.

How do you participate online?

In order to keep our community safe, our AGM will be virtual only.

Members and registered guests will be provided with the ZOOM information to participate via live stream (phone, computer and/or mobile device).

  • we WILL NOT be enabling video camera's for attendees, please feel comfortable to grab a coffee and join us without concern for your privacy
  • you WILL be asked to provide your trail permit # at registration to ensure voting members can vote and that we have quorum
  • Details for the live stream will be provided in your registration confirmation
