About this event

The CAMH Engage Charity Gala is back! After missing 2 years of hosting in-person events, we are looking forward to celebrating with you at this year’s Charity Gala event.

In 2013 the event was created to engage young professionals passionate about mental health care! This year's event will shine a spotlight on how mental health research is saving lives today. In recent decades, people living with mental illness have found answers and hope because of research breakthroughs that have happened at CAMH—and we are on the cusp of even more. We are excited to gather together to learn more about how accelerating life-saving mental health research, discovery and innovation will transform treatment, prevention and outcomes for people around the world.

This year’s event will be a cocktail style gala, held at the beautiful Ricarda’s Restaurant in the heart of the Entertainment district in Downtown Toronto. The event will hosted by Jeremy Dias, one of CAMH’s Difference Makers for Mental Health and will feature Gillian Strudwick, the recipient of our 2021research grant and feature closing remarks from Deborah Gillis, President and CEO of CAMH Foundation. The evening will feature hors d'oeuvres, live entertainment, an open bar and opportunities for networking with likeminded young professionals. A semi-formal dress code will be in effect.
