About this event
The ELB Book Club will be held online every third Wednesday of the month from January through June. This club will provide an opportunity to:
- Read nature titles recommended by professionals in the field
- Discuss topics & gain perspectives on environmental topics
- Connect with like-minded ELB members
$15.00 (+tax) will get you access to monthly virtual book club meetings from January through June 2022. Books are not included, but members are encouraged to borrow from a friend or locate books through your public library when possible.
Our first read will be Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer & the following reads will be decided on as a group.

Organizer of 2022 ELB Online Book Club
The Emerging Leaders For Biodiversity (ELB) network gives professionals (ages 18-30) the opportunity to get hands-on experience, share knowledge, and preserve natural environments in your lifetime. ELB guides youth and emerging professionals to channel their passion for biodiversity by focusing ideas and knowledge to where it will make a difference across the province of Ontario. ELB currently holds a seat on the Ontario Biodiversity Council and also participates in many local environmental initiatives and events. An organization built by young people for young people, ELB has a strong online and social media presence, and encourages the youth of Ontario to leverage those online tools to make a positive change to Ontario's environment.
