About this event
On Thursday, June 23, 2022, join us for the first virtual MD Student Advocacy Showcase hosted by the University of Toronto Department of Family & Community Medicine (DFCM)!
In each session, MD students will present Family Medicine Advocacy Projects and share how the work has impacted their perception of — and approach to — patient care and the broader health system. The MD Showcase is open to all residents, learners, staff and alumni, including all those at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, as well as local and international friends of the department.
The plenary is on the topic, "Seizing the Moment: Moving from Advocacy to Organizing," by Dr. Danyaal Raza, DFCM Faculty Lead in Social Accountability.
This MD Advocacy Showcase: Supporting Patients in their Communities event has been certified for up to 6.25 Mainpro+® credits.
