This summer camp week is the theme of garden activities that will help children discover the joys of gardening and nature!

About this event

Fun learning while playing in, and caring for, nature along Silver Creek.

“Every adventurous, unpredictable day in the garden, and in nature, is exciting and crowded with sensory pleasures and the (forgotten) childhood miracles we find in unexpected places.” Sharon Lovejoy. Samples of garden activities found in her book will help children discover gardening, nature and that the only thing we could predict about Mother Nature is that she is unpredictable!

To serve you better, we added more weeks and increased the program to 4 hrs from 9:00am-1:00pm. Parents may register their child(ren) ages 4-12. We follow Ontario Health Guidelines. Come join us at the confluence of the Credit River and Silver Creek daily to see and hear nature’s wonders, immersed in the ravine’s ecology.

Children engage in experiential learning, fun nature-based activities. They enjoy the benefits of nature immersion while learning, gardening and nature care, discovery walks, handicrafts/art, literacy activiteis and songs/games. Themes foster curiosity and an understanding of the natural world and our role in it. Stay for a family picnic lunchon. Dress for fun in all weather! Sign up early!
