AGM and Election

Our AGM will also take place on November 3 in the afternoon. Election of Directors is held at the AGM.

Of the 11 Directors positions, there are four positions up for renewal for a 3-year term. All four incumbents intend to run for re-election.

WSABC Directors represent the greater interests of the water supply industry in the BC Southern Interior. Meetings are bi-monthly and the Directors must be a representative from a Utility Member of the WSABC. Directors meet via teleconference or live bi-monthly so the time commitment is manageable. We encourage all utilities to consider having a staff run for a Director position.

Trade Show and Banquet

We’re happy to be holding a Trade Show again this year with more capacity than last year. A banquet will follow the trade show on the evening of November 3. The WSABC will recognize some outstanding members and/or utilities of our association with an award.

November 4, 2022 – Friday’s program

Begin Friday with sessions on the present of water supply featuring case studies from the south Okanagan. Finish with future thoughts and predictions of water supply moving forward. Major themes are aridification and sustainability.

The WSABC has represented its member’s water supply concerns for over 100 years. We are committed to meeting the challenges of an ever-changing water supply industry to protect and advance the interests of our members and their customers. The objectives of the association are: Foster the interests and promote the welfare of its members in the irrigation and domestic water supply industry. To act as a centre for accumulating and dispatching information to and for its members.
