FAQs
Is this open to all schools?
All Squamish Schools including Waldorf, Montessori, Ecole les Aiglons, and SD48 schools. Grade 4-5-6 only
Why is there a limited number of tickets per school?
We are starting off making sure each school has a fair share at getting tickets- we will open up remaining tickets in two weeks to all schools
Why does it ask for my child's grade and school?
It makes our check in way faster as we check in and check out the kids by school
Who do I contact if I am late for pick up/ in case of emergency during the event?
We will post to the event facebook page (link) the day of the event the cell numbers of our registration desk- and we will have a message board if any messages need to be passed on
Why does it ask for my cell phone and email on the registration and my child's information?
We will not share any personal information however in case of emergency we ask for a bit of information about each ticket holder- name, age, allergies, emergency contact and school they attend.
What food if any is available?
We will provide a concession with baked goods and drinks. We are asking as many parents as possible who wish to contribute to the concession to drop off items at ESE gym on Friday the 10th after 3pm or Saturday 11th between 11-2pm.
Will tickets be sold at the door?
No
This event is put on by the french school but my child doesn't speak french will they have fun?
Ecole les Aiglons PAC has as one of their mandates to be a leader in the Squamish community in creating opportunities for both anglophone AND francophone kids and parents to celebrate francophone language and culture both here in Squamish and beyond. As such, your child will hear some french spoken by the MC, DJ and volunteers AND will also be 100% comfortable if they speak english all evening.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please provide your children with a small amount of cash to purchase food from the concession. It goes without saying there is absolutely zero tolerance for alcohol, vaping, smoking or drugs. We encourage students to leave their cell phones at home as there are many adult chaperones that can lend them a phone
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Any questions please feel free to visit the Facebook event page (Link) or email aiglonsape@gmail.com
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes it is, please tell the child you are transfering ticket to however that they will have to give the original ticket holder's name at registration.
