Gathering for Community, Connectivity, and Change - A Symposium on the Power of Restorative Justice

In today’s social climate, many are seeking alternative approaches to ‘justice’. RJABC recognizes the importance and the power of restorative justice and hope to bring together practitioners, stakeholders, and community partners to engage in dialogue to discuss the value of restorative practices in healing relationships and community.

Vision

Through this gathering we hope to work towards a future that ensures and inspires safe, healthy, diverse, and peaceful communities, where people live in respect for themselves and each other, utilizing a restorative and equitable approach. We aspire to the achievement of a society where the natural response to conflict and harm is restorative not punitive, relational not isolating, and healing not harmful.

Pre-Symposium Training Sessions

Join us on Tuesday June 6th for one of our training sessions and build you capacity to engage in anti-racist practice, learn and explore culturally appropriate restorative justice practices, and look critically at organizational governance models.
