Can I get tickets in advance or at the gate?

Tickets are available online in advance or at the gate.  Cash, credit or debit is accepted.  There will be cash machines at the event.

Is there parking at the event?

Parking is very limited and is usually gone by mid-morning. It's best to take public transit.  The Douglas Skytrain station is steps from the event.  Or drop your passengers at the main gate on Trevor Wingrove Way, then park at Douglas College across the street.

Can I buy a kilt? Get haggis? Irn Bru?

Yes. There are great kilt vendors on-site, including Tartantown and the British Store has haggis and other Scottish delights like Irn Bru & bacon butties.

Do I need tickets for Sunday?

Accepted Answer

Sunday is a free event, but you can also get a ticket if you would like. Gates open at 10: 00 am.

How do I become a vendor at ScotFestBC?

Go to "ScotFestBC.com" and click "VENDORS"  at the top of the page.

Is the Lafarge park and washrooms closed to the public during ScotFestBC?

Accepted Answer

A ticket is required to enter the fenced area, which includes the Hub washrooms and a large portion of the east side of Lafarge Lake.  The area will be fenced throughout the weekend, however you will be able to walk completely around the lake during ScotFestBC.

How do I get to ScotFestBC?

The best way to get to ScotFestBC is public transit.  Take the Millennium Line to Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station, then listen for the pipes.

You've probably seen Gurdeep in videos from his cabin in the Yukon or around Canada, where he shares joy and positivity to those around him through bhangra dancing.  He brings this positive vibe and lively spirit to our Sunday World Music Festival Main Stage.

Can I bring my pet?

Accepted Answer

You cannot bring your pet on Friday evening or Saturday.  This has been the policy of the BC Highland Games for many years.  Sunday is a free program and while pets will be admitted, please be advised this will be a very busy event.
