WiDS Vancouver is an independent event that is organized by DataCan as part of the annual WiDS Worldwide conference, the WiDS Datathon, and an estimated 200 WiDS Regional Events worldwide. Do I need to purchase Networking ticket if I already purchased a General Admission ticket?

No you don't need to. The General Admission ticket already covers Networking session.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

If you're traveling by train, the location is right next to Vancouver City Centre station.

If you're traveling by cars, pay parking is available. More info will be sent to your email address closer to the date.


What can I bring into the event?

We're trying to reduce waste and plastic for our event this year. So we highly encourage you to bring your own water bottle and pen for visualization workshop. There is a water refill station at the location.


What's the refund policy?

Refunds up to 7 days before the event. The refund amount will only include the full ticket price, but not the Eventbrite fee.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You don't need to print the ticket out. You can show your ticket through your phone. We can also check you in with your ID if your name on the ticket is the same.
