Construction in the 21st century is changing faster than at any time in the sector’s history. Governments are bringing in new regulations for energy and carbon performance. Skilled trades remain in high demand. Urban densification and revitalization efforts change how sites can be accessed by materials and labour. In addition, new and conventional models of construction management are enhanced by Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and more collaborative processes like Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).

This education and networking event, which includes a stand-up reception style dinner, brings together three construction and design professionals – each of whom has delivered innovative and sustainable projects. The speakers will highlight the potential for incorporating pre-fabricated elements to enhance speed, reduce cost and deliver better energy performance. As well, Integrated Project Delivery processes will be profiled for projects large and small, including a case study of the first truly IPD project in Alberta, the Mosaic Centre.

Who Should attend: This program is designed for large and small contractors, multi-family residential homebuilders, developers, project managers and suppliers to the construction sector.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made a minimum of seven (7) business days prior to the event. A $30 administration fee will apply to all cancellations. Cancellations made less than seven (7) business days prior to the event will not be refunded however the registration is transferable to another individual at any time.
