ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

On May 6th, 2017 VOICE will be holding its 25th Annual Conference to be held at the University of Guelph Campus at the Rozanski Hall.
This year's conference will bring together parents of children with hearing loss, researchers, clinicians, teachers and community organizations for medical presentations and parent-oriented discussions. Workshops will be led by dynamic speakers from across Canada and the US to help participants access the most up-to-date information to help them overcome any challenges that they are facing. A full day Teen Talk program will also be offered for teens 13 to 19 year olds.
Following the conference, there will be a networking social to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet our special guest Nina Poersch from the hit CBS show 'Survivor'.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No ID required. Teen Talk program is for ages 13 to 19 years old.
However at this moment we don't have a daycare. If you are not able to find babysitting for the day please let us know and we can see how we can help so you could attend.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is free parking available at the University follow signs towards Rozanski Hall.
What can I bring into the event?
Just yourself and pen/paper. Lunch will be provided and light refreshments during the day.

What's the refund policy?
No refunds available but your ticket name can be transfered to someone else.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes please. We will be checking people in via online registration as well but always good to have it in case.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
We prefer that it does but if anything changes just let us know who will take your ticket.
Will there be daycare provided for kids 12 years of age and under?
We have added KIDS CLUB to this year's program event. Kids ages 3 to 12. If you have a child under 3 please contact the organizer to see if accomodations can be made as we will not be equipped to do diaper changes & nap time with our volunteers. KIDS CLUB will include a basketball clinic, magic show and workshop along with other age appropriate activities for all to choose from. Pre- registration required. VOICE members kids are Free. Non-VOICE-member $10.00 cash on the day of. All must pre-register.
