Event description

Description

Every year, graduate students from the Cumming School of Medicine organize the Cumming School of Medicine Symposium for high calibre, motivational researchers to present their cutting edge findings to students, faculty, and staff. The primary aim of the symposium is to bring in interesting and diverse speakers to the University of Calgary to foster opportunities for collaboration and networking for students and faculty. This year, we have the pleasure of introducing five excellent speakers for our 26th Annual CSM Symposium: Ian Frazer (University of Queensland), Miguel Nicolelis (Duke University), University of Calgary Alumnus Catherine Hankins, (University of Amsterdam), Carrie Bourassa (University of Regina and Scientific director of the Institute of Aboriginal Peoples' Health at CIHR), and Terry Pearson (University of Victoria).
