27 April 2019 OSA TYPA Clinic

The OSA Take Your Pistol Apart (TYPA) Clinic is open to OSA members, OSA affiliate members and guests. The Clinic is a requirement for the new (soon to be introduced) Pistol Level 1 qualification. The focus of the TYPA Clinic is both the theory and “hands on”:

• The operating system
• Safe handling procedures and safety precautions
• Field strip
• Lubrication
• Function check
• Sights and zeroing
• Annual inspection
• Firing and zeroing

Ammunition must be proven safe in your firearm; you'll need about 200 rounds. Electronic ear defenders and safety glasses are required.

Cost $65.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members and OSA affiliate members. Use promotional code osamember or osaffiliate. (Our range officers and technicians do NOT need to register for this event.)

Includes:

• Full day of instruction: hands-on workshop and range time;
• Qualified armorer will check your pistol for serviceability.

If you want to bring a second pistol to be inspected, buy a “Second TYPA” ticket for an extra $35.00.

Check in between 0830 and 0845. You'll be asked for proof of club membership. You'll also be required to sign a liability waiver. Class starts at 0900.

If you haven't been to an OSA event before, email lindamilcun@gmail.com for detailed instructions. You must have shooter's liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e., you must be a member of the CSSA, CCFR, NFA, or similar. You must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.
