From Prep to Shoot, a 2nd AD has many responsibilities. This course is designed to walk you through the role of the 2nd AD in Pre-Production. Meetings, paperwork, scheduling, communications, breaking down a script, creating the call sheet, are just some of the subjects that will be covered. This course focuses on the duties and skills that will help you make a smooth transition to working as a 2nd AD. Please note that Movie Magic Scheduling is not covered in this course.
This course is ideal for Members looking to get the training necessary for upgrading to working as a 2nd AD.

Yes, registration is required for this event.
Is this event open to everyone?
No, this event is only open to DGC and GAP members currently in Good Standing, who have pre-paid and registered for this event through this page. There will be no payments taken at the door.

What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds for courses. However, if you notify Cristy Becker within 1 business day of the event that you can no longer attend, you will be given a course credit to take another class in the future.
