2nd Annual Supply Chain Knowledge Mobilization Summit
Event Information
About this event
With the funding support from Alberta Innovates, Fluor Canada, and Mount Royal University, this event will bring together Government, Industry, Academics, and Students to explore the problems and best supply chain management practices to build resilient and sustainable supply chains. The event will also dissect the role of data-driven optimization, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to achieve supply chain resilience and sustainability.
The event will showcase three student projects around the use of Machine Learning to help make supply chains gain better visibility into milestone completion. The projects were supported by Fluor Canada with real-life datasets and generous funding to provide students access to applied ML software platforms. Using applied ML, MRU students from the Department of Supply Chain Management, designed models that could predict future milestone delays to an accuracy of 0.29 days, with an efficiency of 99%.
Funded by Alberta Innovates, Flour Canada, IES and MRU
