2nd Sunday of Lent - Communion Service at St. Boniface - Feb 27-28
Event Information
About this Event
With services limited to no more than 10 people, in order to care pastorally for the faithful, His Eminence, Cardinal Collins, has permitted parishes in lockdown regions to hold brief Holy Communion Services.
The services at St. Boniface Church will be approximately 10 minutes in duration at 15 minute intervals, starting at 3:00pm until 6:00pm on Saturday, and from 9:00am to 1:00pm on Sunday.
Registered parishioners for the specific 15-minute time slot will enter from the elevator side door where all will check-in to confirm attendance (for contact tracing purposes), walk up the centre aisle, and they will be asked to stand, across the front facing the altar, 6 feet apart (2m). Immediately after the conclusion of the service, they shall exit from the side door in order to accommodate the next group of parishioners.
Please note for registration, your name, email address and phone number are mandatory for contact tracing purposes.
This permission has been granted because His Eminence recognizes how important the Eucharist is, as the source and summit of our spiritual strength as Christians.
Please do not enter the church if you have a temperature, feel ill or have been in contact with a COVID-19 positive individual over the past two weeks.
Additional information:
• Masks or face coverings are mandatory.
• There will only be one entrance into the church. Please look for signs marking the proper entrance door.
• Sanitize your hands upon entry.
• Please maintain physical distancing at all times. Stay 2 metres (or 6 feet) away from others.
