What is ‘Lean Sales’?

Lean Sales is our in-depth course for founders and team members. Throughout the course, you’ll learn everything you need to know about sales – from prospecting through closing – all while applying what you learn to your business in real-time.

Outcomes include:

  • Define your target markets, segments and customers
  • Better understand your customer problem and value proposition
  • Review your pricing, customer acquisition costs (CAC) and unit economics
  • Map out a scalable sales process that aligns with how customers want to buy
  • Learn prospecting tactics to build the top of your funnel
  • Improve your sales messaging
  • Understand the different sales roles, and how to build and manage a sales team
  • Learn pro tips for qualifying, negotiating, managing and closing deals
  • An online Demo Day where we celebrate your progress with a few select guests from the community – including investors and community leaders – and you can win some sweet prizes

How is the course delivered?

Lean Sales is a combination of online learning with live, interactive sessions on Zoom with 321 experts.

But this is not your typical online class – it’s highly structured, to ensure you make rapid progress each and every week.

  • Each week, you’ll self-drive through some online content to learn key concepts, and apply what you’re learning by completing the worksheets provided.
  • Then, we meet online (hello Zoom!) to discuss those key concepts in more detail, share examples, answer your questions, review your own progress, and give you a chance to learn from your peers in the cohort.
  • On top of that, companies get two small-group sessions to receive additional coaching and feedback.

What’s the investment?

  • $1599 + taxes and fees
  • If you want a colleague to join you, it’s only an additional $599 + taxes and fees. We want to incentivize you to go through this experience together!
  • If you want a 3rd or 4th person to join you, they’ll pay $1599 and $599 respectively (again – from the same company)
  • More than four team members attending? Please give us a shout.

Consider checking out the grants or other funding available to you or your employees for skills and growth focused training. In Alberta, you can check out the Canada Alberta Job Grant - it can cover up to 2/3 the cost!
