Lean Sales includes 4, full day sessions plus a one-to-one coaching session.

You are required to have taken 321 Sales Academy's Sales 101 course before taking the 8 week Lean Sales program. Register for both programs now and get your seat in Sales 101 ar our early bird rate as well as Lean Sales, seats are limited, don't wait!

  • Understand how to negotiate, close and get to a signed contract more effectively

Who’s it for?

321 Sales Academy was built for founders or senior members of a startup team, with responsibility for sales. You work in a B2B startup that is for-profit or a social enterprise. You have already developed an MVP, are on your way (or have achieved) product/market fit, likely have a few customers (or are close to landing some), and may have early revenue. Most importantly, you’re fiercely committed to investing the time and effort to get sales results, and are willing to explore and apply fresh approaches.

Which program should I take?


What: Sales 101 helps you to understand what it takes to build a successful sales capacity in your startup, learning about all the necessary building blocks and how they fit together. We cover topics like defining your ideal customer, using an effective sales process, creating marketing tools that work, and managing your pipeline. During Sales 101, you’ll also assess where you are at on each of the building blocks, so you come away with a better understanding of the actions required, and what your priorities should be, in order to move the needle on your sales in 2018. Sales 101 includes an evening workshop to complete or fine-tune your Business Model Canvas, followed by a full-day Sales 101 session. (Note: Sales 101 is a pre-requisite to our Lean Sales program.)

If you’re new to sales, or just starting out with 321 Sales Academy, Sales 101 is the place to start.


What: Lean Sales is natural follow-on to Sales 101, in which you’ll develop and put into practice an effective sales process from prospecting through close. In this hands-on and experiential program, you’ll learn about all aspects of B2B Sales and Business Development, including prospecting, social selling, qualifying, handling sales objections, managing your pipeline, contracting, closing and more. You also have a “ride-a-long”, which is a 1:1 coaching session to help you with a specific sales challenge, or can be used to help you prepare for a critical sales meeting or call. Lean Sales runs as 8, ½ day sessions in Calgary, or 4 full-day sessions in Edmonton. (See below for dates.)

If you’ve already taken Sales 101, have some sales experience, and are ready to accelerate the implementation of a new sales approach, Lean Sales is for you.

More programs (including Sales Tools, Growth Marketing, and Scaling Sales) will be available for registration in the new year.
