The advent of 3D printing is said to signal the beginning of a new industrial revolution. Not only
does 3D printing create excitement among our Young Makers, as they learn to design and think in 3D, new possibilities for learning are revealed and problem solving skills are increased.
In this workshop, we combine 3D Printing with the very popular, sandbox videogame, Minecraft! Young Makers will dabble in design by creating their own Minecraft character or building on a 3D modeling platform. They will also learn how to export Minecraft models as 3D printable .stl files! Young makers will take home a print of one of their creations!
This is a two-part workshop. Young Makers will need to attend both sessions.
