This year’s theme is about applying technology to further innovation and collaboration in teaching and learning.

This is a free event open to faculty, staff and students. Registration is highly recommended. Refreshments will be provided and lunch can be purchased from VCC's Cafeteria.

Speakers include:

• Vis Naidoo, Chief Ed Tech from Cell-Ed will be speaking on mobile learning with a focus on language and workforce skills training

• Dr. Rajiv Jhangiani, Special Advisor to the Provost on Open Education, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, speaking on Zed Credentials

• Krista Lambert from BC Campus on using Pressbooks to create and adapt open textbooks and other open education resources (OERs)

• VCC faculty and staff will be presenting on a variety of tools used in the classroom and resources available at the College. Presentations will be from across the College including faculty from the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Instructor Education, Library, Institutional Research, Centre for Teaching, Learning & Research, Marketing, and more…
