Event description

Description

Remember those dreamy summer nights spent in an Oak Bay garden? Your favorite beer, glass of wine, or perhaps lemonade in hand... groovy harmonies sailing around your ears, and a live band right before your eyes.

Come join us for our 3rd annual Garden Concert series and you can experience the cozy magic of summer at Brighton Music. So far we have two dates scheduled, both featuring the same band you know (and maybe love?) with a brand new name: Mildly Wild.

Concert #1: Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 - 8:00pm

Concert #2: Thursday, August 10th, 2017 - 8:30pm

Please feel free to bring along all of your favorite things! Beverages, snacks, blankets, someone to cuddle... :)

We do have limited seating available but if you can bring your own chair (any kind is suitable) that would be much appreciated.

Admission is by donation either ahead of time via eventbrite (credit card) or at the door (cash only).

We are excited to play for you, catch up with those of you we haven't seen in a little while, and most of all enjoy the warmth of music and community. We hope to see you there!

About the band:

Mildly Wild is an original music project that has evolved out of the Eryn Sharpe Trio, a jazz group featuring vocalist Eryn Sharpe as well as Leon Nagasaki on Guitar and Nick Mintenko on upright bass. In the summer of 2015, the trio recorded their album ‘One Day’ on Hornby Island. Marc Atkinson, the producer, played drums on the record and influenced the trio to add drums and incorporate more pop elements into their sound. Joined now by Alex Campbell on drums, Mildly Wild pulls together new and classic influences, like the Beatles, Norah Jones and Lake Street Dive.
