Description

2017 National Philanthropy Day Luncheon Keynote Speaker

Paul Nazareth

Canadians are generous, but what does that generosity look like today and what will it do tomorrow?

Our speaker has spent 17 years in the philanthropic sector in a number of roles with charities small and large. CanadaHelps brings donors and charities together online and this relationship creates insight into what we care about and how we react to the causes we feel are important. He will bring the perspective of donors and charities from all across Canada as well as insight into trends in how we as a country do good and make change.

National Philanthropy Day

Wednesday, November 15th | 11:00am-1:30pm | Manteo Resort Hotel

Philanthropy is "the love of humankind," and National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is the day that thousands of people around the world come together to both one, put that word into action and two, recognize the change that word has brought to our community. National Philanthropy Day is a special day set aside on the 15th of November to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy and those people active in the philanthropic community.

AFP Okanagan Chapter is hosting our third annual National Philantrophy Day luncheon on Wednesday November 15th at the Manteo Resort. We are thrilled to honour and acknowledge outstanding achievements by individuals, foundations, corporations, fundraising volunteers and non-profit organizations who contribute their time, talent, financial support and other resources to the philanthropic community in the Okanagan and beyond.
