This is the page that child care centres, community agencies and early learning programs can schedule and purchase the delivery of an Onsite Professional Development Workshop for your child care, early learning or community organization. These workshops are available for delivery between between May 2016 and January 2017.
This is for programs located within the Greater Vancouver Area of BC. If your organization is outside of that area please contact Jane directly to discuss scheduling a workshop.
These professional development workshops that are delivered onsite at your child care program, early learning centre or in your community. You manage the registration, hosting of the workshop and all logistics related to planning for the session. Jane Boyd visits the agreed upon venue and delivers the total number of workshops that have been purchased. These onsite workshops are ideal for team meetings, onsite professional development days or community organized training days.

Please contact Jane Boyd at 604-807-0266 or email@example.com to review the date you would like to hold the workshop. Once you have agreed upon the date you can go ahead and make your payment. Please review the Terms & Conditions to ensure you understand all of the important information related to your workshop booking.
You will be prompted to choose which 4 Hour Onsite Workshop you want delivered at your program after you select that date/time of the workshop(s) you wish to purchase.
Fees to Deliver Onsite Professional Development Workshops
Base Fee: $750.00 for up to 12 participants. Each additional participant is $60.00 plus GST & .35 per KM in excess of 100 KMs travel.
About Jane Boyd, ECE & SNE
With more than 25 years experience in addressing small business, work-life, education, employee engagement and early learning issues Jane is a recognized authority when it comes to developing customized work-life and child care solutions. She works with businesses of all sizes – from solopreneurs to huge global brands, all levels of government, NGO’s, educational institutions, early learning and care programs & First Nation communities. Jane's client list has included VanCity, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, Envision Financial, PWC, Electronic Arts Canada, BC Housing, BC Council for Families, MCFD, City of Richmond and countless other organizations. She also recently completed the Child Care Needs Assessment for the East Kootenay Region of BC. Jane designed, developed and oversaw the initial 5 years of operations of the award winning Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Child Care program. Through her work, Jane has been directly involved in securing more than $2.75 million dollars in funding for projects relating to business collaboration, work-life balance, employee wellbeing, education, community development and child care.
Jane is a certified Early Childhood Educator and Special Needs Educator in BC. She is also a Child Development Supervisor in Alberta. In addition, Jane has been certified as a Child Care Supervisor in Prince Edward Island and as a Licensed Infant, Preschool, School Age and Family Educator in Newfoundland & Labrador.
Terms and Conditions To Be Aware of
You are purchasing the delivery of one 4 Hour Onsite Workshop.
The maximum number of participants for this workshop is 24.
If there are more participants in attendance at the time of delivery than you have paid for 45 Conversations Media & Education Ltd. will invoice your organization to cover the cost of the additional attendees.
If Jane Boyd has to travel more than 100 km to present this workshop 45 Conversations Media & Education Ltd. will invoice your organization at the rate of .35 per km for every km in excess of 100 km's.
All workshops will be facilitated by Jane Boyd unless otherwise agreed upon. In the case of illness or emergency, Jane Boyd may send an alternate facilitator or she will work with you to deliver your onsite workshop on a different date. Refunds are not provided due to illness or emergency situations.
Once an onsite workshop is booked it is non-refundable. The date of delivery may not be changed, except in situations of significant extenuating circumstances that Jane Boyd approves at least 7 days in ADVANCE of the scheduled date for delivery.
