Event description

Description

The Anti-Racism Festival takes place every year in a different city across Canada. In 2017, the festival is coming to Edmonton! The Festival consist of a 48-hour film challenge (Feb 17-Feb 19), poetry jam (Feb 18) and red carpet screening (March 21).

The
Red Carpet Screening takes place on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination at the Princess Theatre. The night will be a red carpet event that showcases the completed films in downtown Edmonton at 6pm. Refreshments will be served and the event is free of charge, as the purpose is to help mitigate racism by actively allowing citizens to participate and stand against racism.
