48-hour-Anti-Racism Red Carpet Film Screening
Event Information
Description
Canadian Cultural Mosaic Foundation is pleased to invite you to the screening gala featuring short films by the participants of the, first ever, 48-hour-Anti-Racism Film Festival in Calgary.
The 48-hour Anti-Racism Film Festival takes place during February and March of 2016 in Calgary, Alberta. This is because February is Black History Month and in March takes place the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The red carpet gala will take place on Monday, March 21, 2016, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The gala will be a red carpet event that will showcase the completed films in downtown Calgary at the John Dutton Theatre. Refreshments will be available and the event is free of charge, as the purpose is to help mitigate racism by actively allowing citizens to participate and stand against racism. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
You are invited to come with your family and friends. We encourage you to reserve tickets to assure you have a seat.
