4th Biennial OWA Bass Tournament
Join us...together but six feet apart...for another fun day on the water! Submit your longest fish of the day for a chance to win one of four great prize packages!
Cost: $40 per team
When: Sat., Aug. 29 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Location: Any body of water in Ontario
50 teams of two maximum. Women only ~ 19 years of age and older.
***2020 Membership to Ontario Women Anglers is required. ***

Tournament Rules:
- Open to paid 2020 OWA members only.
- Social/Physical distancing protocols must be followed (i.e. face masks, 6 ft apart unless with members of the same household or with those in your "social circle" as deemed by the Government of Ontario https://www.ontario.ca/page/create-social-circle-during-covid-19)
- Teams can fish on any body of water in the Province of Ontario.
- This is a largemouth/smallmouth bass tournament only. No other species will be accepted.
- Tournament starts at 8:00 a.m. EDT and ends at 2:30 p.m. EDT
- Submit your team's longest fish photo between 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Pre-fishing before 8:00 a.m. on the day of the tournament is not permitted.
- Teams can fish from shore, in a canoe, kayak, paddleboat or row boat.
- Team members must fish within 200 feet of each other.
- Motorized watercraft (gas, electric, etc.) are not permitted.
- Teams cannot be transported to a fishing spot aboard a watercraft with a motor .
- Both artificial and live bait can be used.
- Help from fishing guides (paid or unpaid) is prohibited.
- Tournament will proceed rain or shine.
- Take lots of pictures and HAVE FUN!!!
MEASURING FISH
- Fish must be measured on a bump board or measuring device (e.g. metal measuring tape) that clearly shows the entire length of the fish. The mouth must be closed and at the 0 end of the board. The tail must be pinched (see sample photos below).
- Do not use fabric measuring tapes.
- Fish should be measured to the closest 0.5 cm. No rounding up.
