To raise money FOR UKRAINE.

First things first: 100% of proceeds go to SECOND FRONT UKRAINE FOUNDATION to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine. BALAKLAVA BLUES will PERSONALLY DELIVER all aid to UA Armed Forces on Oct 4 when they fly to Ukraine.

BALAKLAVA BLUES is a Ukrainian electro-folk-noir trio that travels the world sharing the Ukrainian experience at some of the world’s most infamous festivals. This will be their first Toronto show since playing for 60k people at Colours of Ostrava, where they played a headline set before Martin Garrix (check it here)

The last time we did this in April, we raised $20,000 and delivered an anti-drone system to our troops the very next week. This time we want to send BALAKLAVA BLUES over with a pickup truck for UA Armed Forces.

But we’re fighting on the cultural front, too and this night we have a very special guest:

DARIA KOLOMIEC is a Ukrainian music selector, DJ, producer, and presenter that is promoting Ukrainian music and culture worldwide. She’s got a huge following and will bring her unique set straight from New York City, where she’s protesting and keeping Ukraine top of mind and heart every day.

Joining her will be our favourite local Baltic electro-folk-hop DJ, ERIK LAAR, who has been supporting the cause along with the Estonian community in Toronto since day 1.

Plus we’ll have Ukrainian DJ EUGENE PAUL to keep the party going. For those that missed him at the OLEH SKRYPKA after-party, he’s a former resident of Echo Bay club (Chongqing, China) with his house and minimal music selection.

It’s all going down at the legendary El Mocambo on Saturday, October 1.
