Mindful exercises for the mind and body with Tai Chi QiGong

Part 1: January 11 – February 15

Part 2: March 8 – April 12

Wednesdays from 3 pm - 4 pm

Goal:

  • Work with Neuroplasticity to improve flexibility, balance, coordination, and de-stress, with gentle movements to all body parts mindfully in a holistic manner

Course Content

  • Gentle exercises that can be done seated or standing
  • Movements in easy-to-follow speed and methods that participants can repeat on their own and develop helpful habits in their daily lives
  • Learning movements in a comprehensive manner, to improve the balance of the body, balance in the brain, and promote better mind and body coordination in an enjoyable manner
  • Practice embracing feelings and sensing our body through movements
  • Learning ways to enhance self-nurturing and recuperation in a positive way
  • Provide individualized attention and adjustment that caters to individual needs to obtain immediate feedback
