#GBConnect Presents: Beyond the Bench

Kickoff Athletics Homecoming weekend with Beyond the Bench – a special 50th Anniversary Edition of #GBConnect. A casual Friday night social featuring spotlight interviews with Canadian sports industry personalities. Reconnect with former Huskies teammates or network with other alumni at the newly renovated Casa Loma Athletic Centre, home of George Brown College’s varsity basketball teams.

Ticket includes appetizers and one complimentary beverage.

*Registration open to George Brown Athletics alumni, current Huskies athletes and all other George Brown alumni.

Game Day! A chance to hit the playing field again with former Huskies teammates in recreational games, or the opportunity to compete in a competitive game against members of the 2017-18 Huskies Varsity Teams. Pick your sport on the ticket confirmation page, and get ready to lace up!

Homecoming Dinner

6:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Chelsea Hotel Toronto, 33 Gerrard St W, Toronto
$60 (plus taxes and applicable service fees)

Join your fellow Athletic Alumni in a dinner reception at the Chelsea Hotel Toronto. The evening’s events include buffet dinner, Hall of Fame inductions, dancing, and more. With over 20 years’ experience in the OCAA and CCAA, Sport Commentator Dana McKiel (Rogers Media, NCAA) will keep the evening flowing as we celebrate 50 years of Huskies sport history on this special night.

Ticket includes a bottle of red and white wine per table.

Weekend Pass

Access to all activities and events throughout Friday and Saturday.
$65 (plus taxes and applicable service fees)

Give back in celebration of the 50th Athletics Homecoming! Donations from this event will go towards the creation of the Athletics Alumni Endowment Fund. This fund will support annual scholarships for student athletes at George Brown in perpetuity.

Please help us reach our fundraising goal of $25,000 by making a donation today. You will receive a charitable tax receipt for any donation over $20.

Your donation can help a student athlete to:
• $50 – pay for their Varsity Fee
• $100 – purchase their sport shoes
• $500 – get their textbooks for a semester
• $1,000 – travel to and from school for the season
• $5,000 – pay for a full year’s tuition fees
