About this Event

After careful consideration, our Organizing Committee has been encouraged to re-imagine the 5th Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference in an updated format as a virtual speaker series! The event has been rescheduled to take place virtually in October 2020.

Wednesday, October 7, 2020 - Session 1: Building Partnerships - Examining real case studies in the marketplace

Wednesday, October 14, 2020 - Session 2: On the Ground - Building business opportunities through negotiation

Wednesday, October 21, 2020 - Session 3: Finding the Balance - Moving forward together

Time: 3:00-4:30 PM PST

You will receive details on how to create your networking profile within the Whova app1-2 days before the first session is set to run.**

Chaired by Dallas Smith, President of Nanwakolas Council, the Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference examines successful partnerships and case studies across the many resource sectors including forestry, energy, mining, fisheries, and aquaculture.

The 2020 program will feature an intriguing line-up of speakers who will share their experiences, perspectives and knowledge of successful approaches and overcoming challenges.

Payment: All prices are in Canadian dollars ($ CAD) and are subject to applicable fees and taxes (5% GST). If you any questions related to registration, please email the Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference via info@bciroc.com.

Tax Exempt: If you are tax exempt, please send tax exemption certificate and tax number to info@bciroc.com so that we can confirm your eligibility for exemption.

Refund Policy: Prior to and including September 30, 2020, any cancellation will be charged a $25 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancelled registrations after September 30, 2020. Substitutions will be allowed. Any stop-payments will be subject to a $50 processing fee. Note, the Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.

Photography Policy: As a registered participant of the Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference, you agree that the Conference or authorized third parties may photograph or record your likeness, image, name, voice, and/ or words, and may publish or distribute your likeness, image, name, voice, and/ or words for promotional and educational purposes in various forms of media, including but not limited to websites, presentations, and marketing materials.

Statement of Liability Waiver: You agree that Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference (the "Conference"), C3 Alliance Corp. and its officers, directors, agents, employees, volunteers, affiliates, successors, assigns, and subsidiaries will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort that you may incur as a result of your participation in the Conference. C3 Alliance Corp. reserves the right to cancel this Forum without penalty other than a refund of registration fees paid to C3 Alliance Corp. for services not provided. C3 Alliance Corp. further reserves the right to reschedule the Conference, refuse admission, or change speakers, location, or content without penalty or the refund of registration fees paid. Each attendee shall be personally responsible for his/her behaviour. The organizers will accept no responsibility for the behaviour of any attendee or outside entity during the Conference.
