Workshop Description:

Are you interested in entering the tech industry? Join us to hear first-hand what some recruiters are searching for in candidates.

In this workshop, we will discuss misconceptions around resume building and best practices to make sure you sell your experiences effectively and authentically. We will walk through how to dissect job descriptions in order to highlight top skills in your own resume for a specific role. Through group activities and a dedicated Q&A with two recruiters, you will feel better prepared to highlight your skills and experiences, avoid common mistakes, and make yourself marketable to hiring managers when applying for jobs.
