In our pursuit to develop into a world-class campus, the Holland College Tourism & Culinary Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, cordially invites you to participate in our 7th Annual Career Connections Day event on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020.

Our campus will be hosting this event to bring top Canadian Industry Partners to actively recruit the best TCC students and graduates who are the best fit for your organization.

Career Connections Day is an invitational event where national industry partners have the opportunity to lead presentations regarding their organizations, meet one on one with students, and begin the process of employee recruitment and talent acquisition. With access to a student body of over 450 highly skilled potential employees, organizations can access a diverse group of capable, competent and qualified future leaders.


WEDNESDAY, February 5th

7:45am Arrival & Classroom Set-up

8:00 am to 9:30 am Welcome Breakfast Reception for CCD Guests & Faculty

10:00am to 12:00 pm Property Presentations & Interviews

12:00 to 1:00 pm L U N C H

1:15pm to 4:00 pm Property Presentations & Interviews

4:15 to 5:00 pm Closing Remarks & Student Prize Draw in Marché

THURSDAY, February 6th -Storm Date

In the event of a campus storm closure on Wednesday, February 5th, the career connections event will be held Thursday, February 6th following the same presentation schedule from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Employers are also invited back to continue the interview process throughout the day Thursday and Friday


All employment participants attending the Holland College Career Connections Day at the Tourism & Culinary Centre will be asked to respect the following guidelines:

 - Send a poster highlighting property name and location; that you will be attending Career Connections Day Wednesday, February 5th. List the programs you want to recruit from and the positions that you will have available for the 2020 season with your web site.

- Property brochures and handouts are encouraged. Please bring them with you.

- Please familiarize yourself with the programs offered at the TCC and the Culinary Institute of Canada to be able to give focused presentations towards all TCC college students. Program information is outlined on our website here:

 - All sessions are suggested to be least a 15-minute presentation with a 15-minute question period - there will be 15-minute breaks between presentations.

 - Discuss internship, graduate and career opportunities available in your organization. What are your organization's performance and professional expectations?

- Application process and procedures.

 - If any exhibitors who require shipping, please contact Susan Shaw prior to shipping packages.

- We ask that you contribute to our CCD Bursary or with property swag, gift cards, cookbooks etc. towards our student prize draw.
