Event description

Description

The funds raised at this show will finalize Keep On Climbing's contribution to a Plan Canada Sanitation initiative in Tanzania, Africa. It means that families throughout Chidilo Village will have clean water for drinking, cooking and washing and students at Chidilo, Chonda and Iwumba schools will have the facilities they need to stay safe, clean and healthy.

Everything raised at the event is matched 5:1 by the Global Sanitation Fund!

Entertainment:

Trevor Finlay is coming from Nashville. Last year, while performing around the world as guitarist for 80s pop icon Tiffany and doing his own shows, he played 303 gigs. We're fortunate that he's able to add our show to the list this year. Highlights of his career include numerous albums, an appearance on The View with Tiffany, appearing in the documentary, Send My Mail to Nashville, and opening for the likes of James Brown and Kid Rock.

Chad Wolfe and his stepdancers from the Chad Wolfe Studio of Music and Dance are back by popular demand. Pretty hard to sit still for this performance!

The Tine Ruffaro Marimba Band will be playing their traditional and contemporary music of Zimbawe on marimbas.

Teri Loretto, CBC climatologist, director and actor, will once again bring her unique talent and humor to our stage as the emcee.

In addition, there will be fabulous silent auction items, door prizes and a 50/50 draw.

COST: $20 and free for children under 12 if accompanied by an adult.
