Explorer Session: Web Development and Design
Learn how to build a website with our introductory explorer session, Web Development and Design at The Village Hive! Students will develop their website using an online code editor, as well as resources such as W3Schools. Students will learn HTML and CSS, while also integrating design aspects onto their site. Throughout the programs, students will also work in teams and individually to learn the fundamental skills of web development and design!
For youth ages 9-12 | Students must bring their own laptops and chargers

Maker Tech School is an after school program for youth, located in Toronto and York Region.
We provide a learning experience that teaches youth the fundamental skills of digital literacy and design, while encouraging them to become innovators and creators of technology in a collaborative environment.
Through teaching youth to become makers, not just consumers of technology, they will shape their future and the future of the digital generation.
Programs are created and developed by students and graduates with a background in New Media and Business from Ryerson University.
