The Annual IEEE WIE Wine and Cheese is hosted by the IEEE Women in Engineering uOttawa and CarletonU Student Branches. It is a networking event dedicated to connect engineering students from all fields with industry professionals and academia.
This is a great opportunity for organizations to meaningfully connect and communicate with more than 100 engineering students and also academics and other industry professionals. Employers will have the chance to meet in person the next wave of innovators and problem solvers. Expect to see many students from co-op and recent/soon-to-be graduates looking to find out more about you and your work!
Various ice-breaker activities will enable participants to build connections from table to table and there will be extensive pre-event promotion. If your organization is interested in having increased visibility at the event, we're pleased to offer patronage opportunities including (but not limited to) exhibition booths, dedicated interactive networking sessions and company advertisement in event media (please forward all patronage inquiries to email@example.com).
With this year’s theme being “Fuelling Innovation through Diversity”, we are putting our focus towards connecting individuals with immensely diverse backgrounds who bring their passion, innovation and different areas of expertise to the table. We believe that the creativity and intellect of all members of society – regardless of gender, background, etc., are essential to accelerate progress towards a sustainable future with innovative technology.
